Along with attending our Sunday morning worship service, there are lots of exciting and easy ways to engage in the life. Here are a few of the ongoing programs you can plug into simply by showing up.
Formation Classes for Kids
Our children’s classes meet at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. Class groups are divided by school grade. We have classes for kid from birth through 5th Grade. Utilizing the arts and play in lessons, in classes our kids develop a strong founding knowledge of the Bible and what it means to be a Jesus follower.
Adult Formation Classes
Our Adult Classes are small group classes that meet every Sunday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am. They vary in length. Topics of the classes change, but all are focused on empowering participants to imitate Jesus’ love in the world.
Our Youth Group spans 6th Grade through 12th Grade. They meet on Sunday mornings from 9:30am to 10:30am to study the Bible together. They often get together one night a month for a fun adventure. Call the church office for details on upcoming events.
Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study
Ladies meet on Wednesday mornings at 9:30am for Bible study and fellowship. There is typically a fall and a spring study. Studies last between eight and twelve weeks. But don’t wait for a new class to start. Jump in whenever you are ready!
At 6:45pm on Wednesday nights a team of Valley members meet to pray over the needs in our community, city, state, and nation. If you enjoy connecting with God through prayer than this team would love to have you.
Parents’ Night Outs
From time to time we serve the families of our community by giving parents a night off. From 6pm to 8:30pm kids (birth through 5th Grade) play, study a Bible story, do crafts together, and have a creative snack. Parents are free to have over two free hours without their children, at no cost. If you are interested in participating, contact the church office.
Our Heritage Club is for our “young-at-heart.” They meet together three or four times each year. Each meeting is comprised of musical entertainment, a guest speaker, and lunch. For more information on speakers and cost, contact our church office.
